Shavige Bhath




What you need:

1 cup Roasted Shavige
1 cup of desired half-cooked vegetables [here I have used, carrot, beans, and peas]
1 tablespoon Lemon juice

For seasoning:
Mustard
Urad daal
Curry leaves
1 Onion [finely chopped]

How to Make it:

  • Heat oil in a pan and add all the ingredients under seasoning.
  • Cook till the onions become translucent.
  • Add in the cooked vegetables and mix well.
  • Once the vegetables are cooked well, add the roasted shavige and mix well with the seasoning.
  • Add 1 cup of hot water, reduce the flame, and cover it for about 5 minutes or until the shavige is soft and cooked well.
  • Switch off the flame, add in lemon juice and coriander.
