Lumpia/Spring Rolls




What you need:
1 carrot [diced]
1/2 cup sweet corn
1/2 cup potato [diced]
3 - 4 tablespoons Mayonaise
3 - 4 tablespoons of tomato ketchup
1 teaspoon Mixed herb
1 teaspoon Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Chilli Flakes [spice can be adjusted]
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

For Lumpia  Sheet
1 cup Maida
Salt to taste
2 tablespoon oil
Water to knead

How to Make it:

Lumpia Filling:
  • Heat little oil, add all the vegetables and fry well.
  • Once the vegetables are soft and cooked well, add in salt, mixed herbs, oregano, and chilli flakes.
  • Switch off the flame and add mayonnaise. Mix well.
For Lumpia Sheets
  • Mix Maida, salt, oil, and water and knead to a soft dough.
  • Cover with a damp cloth and leave it for half an hour. 
  • Take small portions and roll into thin chapatis and let it dry for abt 20 mins.
To Assemble Lumpia
  • Take a sheet and spread the cooked filling onto one of the sides.
  • Fold the sheet and tuck in well. Make sure the filling doesn't spill.
  • Heat oil well, Slide the Lumpias one by one and deep fry till golden brown.
