How to Make it:
  • In a bowl, take Warm Water, Active Dry Yeast, and Sugar. Keep in a warm place for 10 to 15 minutes undisturbed for proofing.
  • If the proofing is done well, a good frothy mixture is seen.
  • To the proof, add in Olive Oil, Salt, and Mixed herbs and mix well. Do not over-mix as it spoils the proofing.
  • Slowly add in the Whole Wheat Flour and Oregano and knead well for about 5 to 10 minutes until the dough becomes soft and smooth.
  • Cover and keep it in a warm place for 1 hour to 1.5 hours or till the quantity doubles in size.
  • Once the dough is double the size, knead well for 10 minutes and spread it on an oven friendly dish.
  • Unleash your creativity and decorate Focaccia with your favorite vegetables.
  • Sprinkle Chilli Flakes, Crushed Garlic, and Mixed Herbs.
  • Smear a good coating of Olive oil/Refined Oil.
  • Preheat the oven at 200 C and bake the Focaccia for 25 - 30 minutes or until the top is beautifully brown.
  • Spread a layer of melted butter or Milk to keep Focaccia soft.
