Onion Palya


What you need
2 - 3 onions [cut lengthwise]
1/2 teaspoon Jeera Powder
1 teaspoon Chilli Powder [Spice can be adjusted]
Pinch of turmeric
1/2 teaspoon Mustard
1 strand of Curry Leaves
1 -  2 tablespoon of Coriander

How to Make it
  • Heat little oil/ghee, add Mustard. Once it starts to splutter, add in curry leaves.
  • Add cut onions and cook till it turns transparent.
  • Add in turmeric powder, chilli powder, Jeera powder, and salt to taste.
  • Add chopped coriander.
  • Serve with hot Phulka/Chapathi.
