Kosambari



What you need

1/2 cup Moong Dal [Soaked for 1.2 hours to 2 hours, and drained well]

1 Cucumber [Finely Chopped]

1 Carrot [Grated]

1/2 cup Fresh Coconut

1 Chilli [Finely Chopped]


For Tempering

1 teaspoon Oil

1/2 teaspoon Mustard

1/2 teaspoon Urad Dal

1 strand Curry Leaves


1/2 Lemon Juice

Coriander to Garnish


How to make it

  • In a bowl, mix all the ingredients.
  • Add the tempering. Toss all the ingredients, add salt, and mix well.
  • Squeeze in 1/2 a lemon to enhance the taste.
  • Garnish with Coriander
