What you need
To grind
1 tablespoon ghee
1 teaspoon peppercorn
1 teaspoon Jeera
2 - 3 green chilli
15 - 20 Dadpatre leaves [Washed and Cleaned]
1/2 cup Coconut grating
For the seasoning
1 teaspoon Ghee
1 teaspoon Jeera
1 or 2 red chilli [here I have used curd chilli]
1 strand curry leaves
1 cup buttermilk
How to make it
- Heat ghee, add in all the ingredients accordingly.
- Cook till the leaves wilt. Switch off the flame and let it cool.
- Add salt and to grind to a smooth paste.
- Add the buttermilk and mix well.
- Heat ghee, add all the seasoning ingredients.
- Mix it well with Tambuli.
Other variations that can be used instead of Dodpatre, but the procedure remains the same:
