Akki Rotti


What you need:
1 cup Rice flour
1/2 cup Cooked rice
1/2 cup Grated Carrot
1/2 cup Dil Leaves
1 teaspoon Jeera
Corriander
Salt to taste

How to Make it:
  • Heat 1 cup of water. Add Salt and Rice flour and bring it to boil.
  • Add cooked rice and mix all well making it to a soft dough consistency. Switch off the flame.
  • Add grated carrot, Greens, Jeera, coriander, and mash well.
  • Your final dough should be of kneadable consistency.
  • Spread a little oil on a silicon mat or plastic. 
  • Take one portion, evenly spread to make thin chapati.
  • Transfer it onto hot tawa, drizzle a little oil and cook evenly on both sides.
  • Serve hot with Coconut Chutney.
