SHIRDI...The most awaited trip!
I boarded the train after 19 years!! It was a divine and teary experience setting foot on the sacred soil. The journey was beautiful, meeting wonderful people and making new friends all the way back and forth :)Was able to see the complete Dhoop Aarthi and spend time in front of Baba for a little less than ten minutes. Walking the paths of Baba, touching the walls of Dwarkamai and Chavadi, collecting souvenirs from Sri Sai Mahasamadhi - peepal leaf, a neem leaf and a flower from Tulsi Katte at Dwarkamai, witnessing the things used by Baba were priceless - The divine experience is spellbinding and overwhelming.
The food was yummm... Tasting the authentic Maharashtrian street food and thali was lipsmacking. Although I made it a point to have my first meal - Daal Khichadi, I tried a few of the famous dishes, including the spicy mirchi techa!
As there were rules and regulations and restrictions on carrying phones in the premises at many places, I have managed to capture a few important places that were possible.
