Halady is a beautiful place with rich coconut groves and paddy fields. The Varahi River flows through Halady, which makes the place fertile and rich for Areca nut and rubber plantation.
I had a beautiful experience of heating water and cooking rice over firewood. The flavor and authentic taste one gets cooking over fire is indescribable. It not only takes one to the roots of existence but shows us how lucky we are to have such a rich cooking experience in simplicity.
