What you need
1 cup poha [soaked for 10 minutes and drained well]
1 boiled potato [mashed well]
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1/2 cup boiled peas
1/2 cup Besan/gram flour
3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
1/2 cup finely beans
1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
1/2 tsp Jeera Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1/2 tsp Chat Masala Powder
1 tablespoon of cashew nut pieces
2 - 3 tablespoon coriander
2 - 3 tablespoon of mint
Salt to taste
How to make it
- Heat a little oil, add ginger-garlic paste. Once the raw smell goes, add desired vegetables [here I have used beans, capsicum]
- Add finely chopped onions and grated carrot.
- Mix the rest of the ingredients to form a good dough consistency.
- Put it on to a skewer and give it a good kabab shape.
- Put the skewer on hot tava, drizzle a little oil and roast well on the sides.
- If you do not have a skewer, patties/cutlets can be made too.
- Serve hot with mint chutney.
