Puffed Rice Upitt



What you need:
2 cups of puffed rice [soaked in water for 5 minutes and drained]

For Seasoning
1 teaspoon oil
Mustard
Urad dal
Channa dal
1 onion [finely chopped]
2 to 3 Green Chilli [slit]
1 Tomato [finely chopped]
Curry Leaves
Salt to taste

How to make it:

  • Heat oil and add in mustard, urad dal, channa dal and let it get golden brown
  • Add onion and let it become translucent.
  • Add tomatoes, chillies and curry leaves.
  • Add salt and mix well.
  • Add the puffed rice and mix well. add salt to adjust the taste.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
