Whole Wheat Sandwich Bread

  


What you need:

3 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 cup Milk Powder
1 1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup Oil
1/4 cup Honey
2 1/2 teaspoon Instant Yeast
1 1/4 cup - 1 1/2 cup Warm Water

How to make it:
  • Whisk Wheat Flour, Milk Powder and Salt well
  • Add Instant Yeast and knead well using warm water.
  • Add Water batch by batch to form good dough consistency.
  • Keep the dough covered in a warm place, undisturbed for 1st proofing for 1 hour.
  • After the 1st proofing of the dough, smear your hands well with oil and knead the dough well for the next   10 - 15 minutes, using stretch and fold technique.
  • Put the dough in a well greased tin for 2nd proofing for 30 minutes.
  • Smear butter/milk/oil.
  • Bake the Bread for about 40 minutes @ 180 C
  • Smear butter/milk/oil to keep the Bread's crust soft.
  • Let it cool completely on a wire rack, before you relish your bread.
